We’re sorry but absolutely no firewood can be brought to Campit during 2007.  All firewood must be purchased at Campit or be a pre-packaged firewood product purchased at a local store.  The State of Michigan has placed a quarantine on firewood to help control the spread of a tree killing pest called the Emerald Ash Borer.  As such, all campgrounds in the State must control firewood entering and/or burned on our property.  Banning personal firewood is the only way we can comply with this important law.  Suspect firewood must be seized by us and turned over to State officials so please don’t bring firewood to Campit.
